Guidelines for Group Class
As we begin a new year of group classes, please be reminded of the following. These guidelines will help to keep classes running smoothly.
- A parent should attend classes to observe and take notes.
- Younger siblings can often be a distraction in group classes where we need the utmost concentration from the students. If a younger sibling has a difficult time sitting still, keeping quiet, etc, please take advantage of the childcare we have on-site.
- Please remember we are guests in the churches. Please do not touch any of the church supplies or toys that may be in the rooms. (This includes pencils in the rews, etc.)
- Food, gum, etc. is not permitted. Please have that snack outside before you come into the building. Bottled water is ok.
- Parents, please supervise students in the bathrooms to make sure toilets are flushed and water is not left running.
- If you must come late to a class, please unpack in the hallway or unused corner of the room and join the class as quietly as possible as to not disrupt the flow of the class.
- Please do not ask the church staff for supplies, or to use their copy machine etc. Find Diane Worthy or a parent board member if there is something you need.
- Parents are asked to approach Don Heroff (Board President) or Diane Worthy (Teacher Coordinator) if there are any issues with the church spaces that we need to know about. Please do not approach a church staff member with problems or issues.
- Enjoy your child's progress and accomplishments. We're looking forward to a great year!
Thank you,
PSS Teachers and PSS Parent board
